atha asanam
hathasya prathama angatvad asanam purvam uchyate |
kuryat tad asanam sthairyam arogyam changa laghavam ||19||

अथ आसनम्
हठस्य प्रथमाङ्गत्वाद् आसनं पूर्वम् उच्यते ।
कुर्यात् तद् आसनं स्थैर्यम् आरोग्यं चाङ्गलाघवम् ॥१९॥

haṭhasya prathama-aṅgatvād āsanaṁ pūrvam ucyate |
kuryāt tad āsanaṁ sthairyam ārogyaṁ cāṅga-lāghavam ||19||

Nun Asana:
Asana wird zuerst erklärt, da es die erste Stufe des Hatha-Yoga ist. |
Diese Asana-Praxis soll geübt werden, da sie Kraft, Gesundheit und Leichtigkeit im Körper verleiht. ||19||
