atha siddhasanam
yoni sthanakam anghri mula ghatitam kritva dridham vinyaset
mendhre padam atha ikam eva hridaye kritva hanum susthiram |
sthanuh sanyamitendriyo'chala drisha pashyed bhruvor antaran
hy etan moksha kapata bheda janakam siddhasanam prochyate ||37||

अथ सिद्धासनम्
योनिस्थानकम् अङ्घ्रिमूलघटितं कृत्वा दृढं विन्यसेत्
मेण्ढ्रे पादम् अथैकम् एव हृदये कृत्वा हनुं सुस्थिरम् ।
स्थाणुः संयमितेन्द्रियोऽचलदृशा पश्येद् भ्रुवोर् अन्तरं
ह्य् एतन् मोक्षकपाटभेदजनकं सिद्धासनं प्रोच्यते ॥३७॥

atha siddhāsanam-
yoni-sthānakam aṅghri-mūla-ghaṭitaṁ kṛtvā dṛḍhaṁ vinyaset
meṇḍhre pādam atha-ikam eva hṛdaye kṛtvā hanuṁ susthiram |
sthāṇuḥ saṁyamitendriyo'cala-dṛśā paśyed bhruvor antaraṁ
hy etan mokṣa-kapāṭa-bheda-janakaṁ siddhāsanaṁ procyate ||37||

Nun wird Siddhasana erklärt:
Die Ferse wird direkt an den Beckenboden gelegt; der andere Fuß wird fest oberhalb des Genitals platziert. Nun wird das einzige Kinn_fest auf das Herz gedrückt. |
Hier verweilend mit zurückgezogenen Sinnen, richtet [der Yogi] den Blick unbeweglich zischen die Augenbrauen. Die Position ist als Siddhasana bekannt, da sie die Pforte zur Erlösung aufbricht. ||37||

mendhre (मेण्ढ्रे, meṇḍhre) = auf dem Penis, Glied, Genital
