harati sakala rogan ashu gulma udara adin
abhibhavati cha doshan asanam shri mayuram |
bahu kadashana bhuktam bhasma kuryad asheshan
janayati jatharagnim jarayet kala kutam ||33||

हरति सकलरोगान् आशु गुल्मोदरादीन्
अभिभवति च दोषान् आसनं श्रीमयूरम् ।
बहु कदशनभुक्तं भस्म कुर्याद् अशेषं
जनयति जठराग्निं जारयेत् कालकूटम् ॥३३॥

harati sakala-rogān āśu gulm-odara-adīn
abhibhavati ca doṣān āsanaṁ śrī-mayūram |
bahu kadaśana-bhuktaṁ bhasma kuryād aśeṣaṁ
janayati jaṭharāgniṁ jārayet kāla-kūṭam ||33||

Mayurasana beseitigt schnell alle Krankheiten der Milz, des Bauches und weitere,
und sie ist siegreich bei Dysbalance der Doshas. |
Insbesondere verbrennt sie alle übermäßig verzehrte Nahrung zu Asche.
Sie erzeugt ein Verdauungsfeuer, das sogar das schreckliche Gift Kala-kuta zu verdauen vermag. ||33||

rogan (रोगान्, rogān) = Krankheiten
ashu (आशु, āśu) = schnell
gulma (गुल्म, gulma) = Milz
udara (उदर, udara) = Bauch
adin (आदीन्, ādīn) = und weitere
abhibhavati (अभिभवति, abhibhavati) = ist siegreich

doshan (दोषान्, doṣān) = Krankheiten hervorgerufen durch Dysbalancen der drei Doshas: Pitta, Vata, Kapha,
asanam (आसनं, āsanaṁ) = Asana, Körperposition

mayuram (मयूरम्, mayūram) = Pfau
asanam shri mayuram (आसनं श्रीमयूरम्, āsanaṁ śrī-mayūram) = Die Pfauen-Position, Mayurasana

bahu (बहु, bahu) = im höchsten Maße, insbesondere
kad (कद्, kad) = unangemessen
ashana (अशन, aśana) = Nahrung, Essen
bhuktam (भुक्तम्, bhuktam) = verzehren, essen
