nasagre vinyased rajad anta mule tu jihvaya |
uttambhya chibukam vakshasy utthapy pavanam shanaih ||48||

नासाग्रे विन्यसेद् राजदन्तमूले तु जिह्वया ।
उत्तम्भ्य चिबुकं वक्षस्य् उत्थाप्य् पवनं शनैः ॥४८॥

nāsāgre vinyased rājad-anta-mūle tu jihvayā |
uttambhya cibukaṁ vakṣasy utthāpy pavanaṁ śanaiḥ ||48||

Den Blick auf die Nasenspitze gerichtet, dann die Zunge an die Wurzel der Schneidezähne nach oben gerollt, das Kinn auf der Brust [gesenkt], [so] kann die Lebensenergie langsam nach Oben gezogen werden. ||46||

nasagre (नासाग्रे, nāsāgre) = Blick auf die Nasenspitze
vinyaset (विन्यसेत्, vinyaset) = gerichtet
rajadanta (राजदन्त, rājadanta) = Schneidezahn
mule (मूले, mūle) = Wurzel, Basis
tu (तु, tu) = dann
jihvaya (जिह्वया, jihvayā) = Zunge

uttambhya (उत्तम्भ्य, uttambhya) = erheben, nach oben richten, aufsteigen
chibukam (चिबुकं, cibukaṁ) = Kinn
vakshasi (वक्षसि, vakṣasi) = auf die Brust
utthapya (उत्थाप्य, utthāpya) = aufgestiegen lassen, heben, nach oben ziehen
pavanam (पवनं, pavanaṁ) = Luft, Lebensenergie
shanaih (शनैः, śanaiḥ) = langsam
