Sentence 36
siddham padmam tatha sinham bhadram va iti chatush. tayam |
shreshtham tatrapi cha sukhe tishthet siddhasane sada ||36||
सिद्धं पद्मं तथा सिंहं भद्रं वेति चतुष्टयम् ।
श्रेष्ठं तत्रापि च सुखे तिष्ठेत् सिद्धासने सदा ॥३६॥
siddhaṁ padmaṁ tathā siṁhaṁ bhadraṁ v-eti catuṣ.-tayam |
śreṣṭhaṁ tatrāpi ca sukhe tiṣṭhet siddhāsane sadā ||36||
Siddhasana, Padmasana, Simhaasana und Bharasana - also diese vier. |
Von diesen ist Siddhasana sogar noch die beste und bequem zum fortwährenden Verweilen. ||36||
siddham (सिद्धम्, siddham) = Position der Erleuchteten Wesen, Siddha-Position, Siddhasana
padmam (पद्मम्, padmam) = Lotusblüten-Position, Padmasana
tatha (तथा, tathā) = und auch
sinham (सिंहम्, siṁham) = Löwen-Position, Simhasana
bhadram (भद्रम्, bhadram) = glückliche Position, Bhadraasana

iti (इति, iti) = so, also

chatush (चतुष्, catuṣ) = vier
tayam (टयम्, ṭayam) = diese
shreshtham (श्रेष्ठं, śreṣṭhaṁ) = beste
tatra (तत्र, tatra) = darin, dort
api (अपि, api) = sogar, dazu noch
cha (च, ca) = und
sukhe (सुखे, sukhe) = einfach, bequem, angenehm
tishthet (तिष्ठेत्, tiṣṭhet) = verbleiben, verweilen
siddha (सिद्ध, siddha) = Siddhas, Erleuchtete Wesen
asane (आसने, āsane) = in der Asana, in der Position
sada (सदा, sadā) = immer, fortwährend
