In this video Ronald and Anna show you the first series in the traditional form. This exercise video will not only demonstrate the proper count, but also how it corresponds to the modifications unique to the AYI Method. Find out how you as a practitioner or as a teacher can offer the experience of practicing according to the traditional count of Ashtanga Vinyasa. Enjoy the essence and beauty of tristana in your practice. 

Tristana is the spiritual connection to the practice of yoga. It is the simultaneous practice of Vinyasa, Bandha and Drishti. Once this unification occurs in your practice it is known as the  lotus flower of Ashtanga Yoga. The Ujjayi breath is the basis of  Vinyasa. From Bandha you find physical alignment and posture. Drishti completes the three-pronged method, and it is the means in which we bring our focus inward.

This is the right video for you if you are already familiar with the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa and want to bring more flow and rhythm to your practice. Additionally, you will be able to practice in the same way as you would if you had a Led class available in your area.
