The second chapter of Svatmarama’s Hatha yoga Pradipika, „Dvitiyo Padeshah“, tells us about Pranayama, Kumbhaka and Sat-Kriya as well as Sat-Karma.

kumbhaka-prana-rodhante kuryach chittam nirashrayam |"
evam abhyasa-yogena raja-yoga-padam vrajet ||77||

कुम्भकप्राणरोधान्ते कुर्याच् चित्तं निराश्रयम् ।"
एवम् अभ्यासयोगेन राजयोगपदं व्रजेत् ॥७७॥

kumbhaka-prāṇa-rodhānte kuryāc cittaṁ nirāśrayam ।"
evam abhyāsa-yogena rāja-yoga-padaṁ vrajet ॥77॥

Am Ende des Prana-Anhaltens durch Kumbhaka, soll der Yogi den Geist frei machen. |
So erreicht er durch diese Praxis den Zustand des Raja-Yoga. ||77||
