purayitva tato vayum hridaye chubukam dridham |"
nishpidyam vayum akunchya mano-madhye niyojayet ||20||

पूरयित्वा ततो वायुं हृदये चुबुकं दृढम् ।"
निष्पीड्यं वायुम् आकुञ्च्य मनोमध्ये नियोजयेत् ॥२०॥

pūrayitvā tato vāyuṁ hr̥daye cubukaṁ dr̥ḍham ।"
niṣpīḍyaṁ vāyum ākuñcya mano-madhye niyojayet ॥20॥

Nachdem der Yogi die Luft (Vayu) eingeatmet hat, soll er das Kinn fest auf das Herz pressen. |
Nun soll der Yogi die Luft anhalten und den Geist in der energetischen Mitte fixieren. ||20||

niṣpīḍya = gepresst

manas = Geist, Verstand
madhye = (loc.) in der Mitte, hier: energetische Mitte, oder: Sushuma, der mittlere Energiekanal.
niyojayet = er soll fixieren
