Description

Have you already tried out parts of the primary series of Ashtanga yoga and you are familiar with the Basic Led class? Then this video is definitely for you! It gives you the tools to take the next steps in your practice by allowing you to work through the entire sequence, thereby enriching your current yoga experience. 

Ronald works mindfully with you at a calm, rhythmic pace through the series. By working with a set rhythm, you are able to experience the seemingly contradictory stillness within movement, which is the characteristic effect of this moving meditation practice. Be carried by the waves of breath from posture to posture and discover the beauty of this form of meditation for yourself!

Atem Bandha Drishti

When the mind calms and focuses on one object and the breath flows freely, energy travels through the body without resistance. This is how we experience Tristana. The practice itself becomes almost effortless as we seem to glide from one pose to the next. In this way, we can also experience the spiritual aspects of the practice as we draw our focus inward.

By focusing on these elements of the practice, we can practice being fully present. Showing up in this way helps us to experience life and interact with others in a more meaningful way. Using this form of the primary series you can work on this aspect of yourself as often as you want :)

Because it is formatted to work in parallel with the traditional primary series, you learn how to integrate innovative elements into your own practice which will hopefully allow you to practice more regularly and how to work more closely with the concept of vinyasa - the fusion of movement with breath.
