In this video, Ronald, along with Yoginis Kumilo and Ines show you a special form of the sun salutation that can help to promote a stable core.
Ines is demonstrating the special form with the grasshopper pose. Kumiko practices along in the traditional form as a comparison. In this way you can see how the two forms flow seamlessly with the count. Core stability on both the front and back side are key for maintaining a healthy back.
A Healthy Back
This special form with the grasshopper helps to strengthen your core. With proper technique of activating the front and back body, you are able to strengthen both simulntaneously. The muscles of the core are key to maintaining a healthy back.
For whom is this video?
The grasshopper form on the sun salutation is of particular interest if you wish to build strength in your core. You will soon notice how you increase strength and how more challenging forms such as the traditional form become more elegant to execute.
