The second chapter of Svatmarama’s Hatha yoga Pradipika, „Dvitiyo Padeshah“, tells us about Pranayama, Kumbhaka and Sat-Kriya as well as Sat-Karma.

jihvaya vayum akrishya purvavat kumbha-sadhanam |"
shanakair ghrana-randhrabhyam rechayet pavanam sudhih ||57||

अथ शीतली"
जिह्वया वायुम् आकृष्य पूर्ववत् कुम्भसाधनम् ।"
शनकैर् घ्राणरन्ध्राभ्यां रेचयेत् पवनं सुधीः ॥५७॥

atha śītalī-"
jihvayā vāyum ākr̥ṣya pūrvavat kumbha-sādhanam ।"
śanakair ghrāṇa-randhrābhyāṁ recayet pavanaṁ sudhīḥ ॥57॥

Nun Sitali:
Den Lebenshauch über die Zunge hineingesaugt, wird der Atem wie zuvor (beschrieben) angehalten. |
(Nun) soll der Weise sanft durch beide Nasenlöcher den Lebenshauch (wieder) ausatmen. ||57||
