shatam cha-ika cha hridayasya nadyas-tasam murdhanam-abhinihsrita-ika |"
tay[a]-{o}[u]rdhvam-ayann-anritatvam-eti"
vishvann-anya utkramane bhavanti ||16||

शतं चैका च हृदयस्य नाड्यस्तासां मूर्धनमभिनिःसृतैका ।"
तय्[आ]{ओ}[उ]र्ध्वमायन्नमृतत्वमेति"
विष्वङ्ङन्या उत्क्रमणे भवन्ति ॥१६॥

śataṁ ca-ikā ca hr̥dayasya nāḍyas-tāsāṁ mūrdhanam-abhiniḥsr̥ta-ikā ।"
tay[ā]-{o}[u]rdhvam-āyann-amr̥tatvam-eti"
viṣvaṅṅ-anyā utkramaṇe bhavanti ॥16॥

There are 101 energy channels (Nadis) of the heart existing.
One of them is directed to the skullcap. |
Through this one, reaching upwards, immortality (Amrita) can be achieved. All other channels are going to various directions - they are doors to death, exitus doorways. ||16||
