The ancient wisdom of Ashtanga Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra applied to everyday living Anthony "Prem" and Heather "Radha" Carlisi came together initially as a teaching team in Sri Lanka 2007 at Prem’s Ashtanga Yoga retreat center in Tangalle. Each had been teaching solo for decades. Their experience of coming together was a magical union. They realized their combined energies created an even more powerful synergy together manifesting in their way to teach. In 2009 the Ashtanga Yoga Bali Research Center was born in Ubud. Prem and Radha are continuing to develop and create their unique way of teaching Ashtanga. Different from many other Mysore based studios, Prem and Radha value the personality and ability of every single student.

Prem and Radha both were able to study with Guruji (Sri K. Patthabi Jois) personally for many years. Prem began learning from Guruji back in 1978. Radha’s Ashtanga journey began by studying with Chuck Miller in 1990 followed by her first trip to Mysore in 1995.

Combining Ashtanga Yoga with the acient wisdom from Tantra and Ayurveda is what makes their teachings so in depth. They pass their essences on to their students to make the practice of yoga more than just a practice but a lifestyle leading to health as well as inner and outer beauty.
