This video guides you through a short movement practice where you will have the chance to allow yourself to be led by your body. Be aware of which movements are doing good at the moment and how your body reacts to them. This way you can start to recognize the signs that your body gives you as the means of communication your body uses to advise you. You can start right away to recognize what you need at a given time based on these signals.
Ina and Melanie give you some general guidance on how you could move your body, and some possible ways to implement them. Melanie then guides you through a simple shoulder mobilization sequence. This is a great way to start tracking the signs that your body sends out as you move and the overall effect that it brings.
As you repeat the exercises you can choose how to move on your own. Listen carefully to what your body tries to tell you and play around with different options. Eventually you will find a movement that feels right. Not only is the practice embodying, but you can use these tools of physical observation when taking decisions in everyday situations.
