Sentence 35

vishayavati va pravritti rutpanna manasah sthiti nibandhini ||35||

विषयवती वा प्रवृत्तिरुत्पन्ना मनसः स्थिति निबन्धिनी ॥३५॥

viṣayavatī vā pravṛtti-rutpannā manasaḥ sthiti nibandhinī ||35||

- Or by contemplating things and impressions, which promotes mental stability and consolidation ||35||

vishaya (विषय, viṣaya) = entity; object; thing
vati (वती, vatī) = impressions; sensation
vat (वात्, vāt) = or, also
pravrtti (प्रव्र्त्ति, pravrtti) = conscious waves in chitta; controlled thoughts; controlled triggering of chitta; concentration
utpanna (उत्पन्ना, utpannā) = bring about; arise; come from;
manasah (मनसः, manasaḥ) = (nom. from manas (मनस्, manas)) mind; spirit; understanding
sthiti (स्थिति, sthiti) = steadiness
nibandhani (निबन्धनी, nibandhanī) = consolidate; aggregate
