कन्ठकूपे क्षुत्पिपासा निवृत्तिः ॥३०॥

kanṭha-kūpe kṣutpipāsā nivṛttiḥ ||30||

Meditation on the pit of the throat (kantha kupa) causes hunger and thirst to cease. ||30||

kantha (कण्थ, kaṇtha) = throat
kupa (कूप, kūpa) = pit
kshudh (क्षुध्, kṣudh) = hunger
pipasa (पिपासा, pipāsā) = thirst
nivrittih (निवृत्तिः, nivṛttiḥ) = cease
