I started practicing yoga in 2014 after a friend suggested I should try home practice and just followed Sri K Pattabhi Jois’ youtube video on Ashtanga primary series. For a couple of months I followed and did what I could. By April of that year, my bestfriend/yoga buddy and I attended an ashtanga workshop by Ajay Kumar. I moved to Manila a couple of months after and started attending vinyasa classes in studios whenever my work schedule permits. My practice would often change especially if I would only be able to practice on my own. I went to different teachers and even attended Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldman’s workshop on January 2016. I know it’s just a matter of time and with consistent practice, little breakthroughs keep coming. I’m scheduled to have my 200h YTT this year and I’m so looking forward to it. For now, I’m letting things flow.
