Before I started with yoga, I was concerned with tai chi, Zen and Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophical science. Silent retreats drew my attention to yoga. This was in the year 2000, and in 2004, I decided to become a yoga teacher. Already two years before I did the BDY/EYU examination in 2009, I started to teach introductory and advanced courses of the Sun Salutation and the Rishikesh series at Yoga-Vidya in Frankfurt. I retired 2011. From that time on I put my emphasis into vhs yoga courses, more or less to work with average people.
Due to visiting India twice, I feel obliged to help Ananda-Seva Indienhilfe. Our project is a small village school in Omkareshwar - see homepage.
My personal practice is ashtanga yoga for several years. I learned the 1st series thanks to Chris Braun here in Frankfurt. Supplementary, I attended seminars with Ron Steiner and Peter Greve. For more than a year now, I am practicing ashtanga Mysore style together with 2 friends privately at home. We are interested in enlarging our group.
