The second chapter of Svatmarama’s Hatha yoga Pradipika, „Dvitiyo Padeshah“, tells us about Pranayama, Kumbhaka and Sat-Kriya as well as Sat-Karma.

pranayamena yuktena sarva-roga-ksayo bhavet |"
ayuktabhyasa-yogena sarva-roga-samudgamah ||16||

प्राणायामेन युक्तेन सर्वरोगक्षयो भवेत् ।"
अयुक्ताभ्यासयोगेन सर्वरोगसमुद्गमः ॥१६॥

prāṇāyāmena yuktena sarva-roga-kṣayo bhavet ।"
ayuktābhyāsa-yogena sarva-roga-samudgamaḥ ॥16॥

Durch geeignete (yuktena) Atemübung (pranayamena) wird die Alle-Krankheit-Zerstörung (sarva-roga-kshayh) bewirkt (bhavet). |
Ungeeignete (ayukta) Praxis (abhyasa) [hingegen], [bewirkt] durch Anwendung (yogena) die Alle-Krankheiten-Verstärkung (sarva-roga-samudgamah). ||16||
