The second chapter of Svatmarama’s Hatha yoga Pradipika, „Dvitiyo Padeshah“, tells us about Pranayama, Kumbhaka and Sat-Kriya as well as Sat-Karma.

yathodaram bhavet purnam anilena tatha laghu |"
dharayen nasikam madhya-tarjanibhyam vina dridham ||64||

यथोदरं भवेत् पूर्णम् अनिलेन तथा लघु ।"
धारयेन् नासिकां मध्यातर्जनीभ्यां विना दृढम् ॥६४॥

yathodaraṁ bhavet pūrṇam anilena tathā laghu ।"
dhārayen nāsikāṁ madhyā-tarjanībhyāṁ vinā dr̥ḍham ॥64॥

Auf diese Weise wird der Bauch mit Luft gefüllt. |
Dann soll (der Yogi) schnell die Nase fest zuhalten ohne Mittel und Zeigefinger. ||64||

dhārayet = er soll (zu) halten
