pratar madhyandine sayam ardha ratre cha kumbhakan |
shanair ashiti paryantam chatur varam samabhyaset ||11||
प्रातर् मध्यन्दिने सायम् अर्धरात्रे च कुम्भकान् ।
शनैर् अशीतिपर्यन्तं चतुर् वारं समभ्यसेत् ॥११॥
prātar madhyandine sāyam ardha-rātre ca kumbhakān |
śanair aśīti-paryantaṁ catur vāraṁ samabhyaset ||11||
Morgends, Mittags, Abends und zur Mitternacht, soll der Yogi diese Atemübung (Kumbhaka) praktizieren, vier mal langsam steigernd bis zu 80 runden. ||11||
pratar (प्रातर्, prātar) = früh Morgends
madhyandine (मध्यन्दिने, madhyandine) = Mittags
sayam (सायम्, sāyam) = abends
ardharatre (अर्धरात्रे, ardharātre) = Mitternacht
