How it's done
Stand next to the practitioner, with their back to you. Next, stabilize the bent knee with your hand.
Help to create more external rotation in the back leg. Stabilize this rotation with your leg opposite to the hand you are using the stabilize the knee with. With the other leg, you support the practitioners back carefully and help them to find a good foundation here.
Once balance has been established, you can help the practitioner deepen their breath, or to help them to create more length in the pose.
