Sentence 31

duhkha-daurmanasya-angamejayatva-shvasaprashvasah viksepa sahabhuvah ||31||

दुःखदौर्मनस्याङ्गमेजयत्वश्वासप्रश्वासाः विक्षेप सहभुवः ॥३१॥

duḥkha-daurmanasya-aṅgamejayatva-śvāsapraśvāsāḥ vikṣepa sahabhuvaḥ ॥31॥

Suffering, depression, nervousness, and agitated breathing are signs of this lack of clarity. ||31||


duḥkha = pain; suffering
daurmanasya = melancholy; sadness; depression
aṅgam = limb; body
ejayatva = uneasiness
aṅgamejayatva = nervousness
śvāsa-praśvāsaḥ = (nom. from śvāsa-praśvāsa) inhaling and exhaling; agitated breathing
vikṣepa = dissipation; uneasiness; lack of clarity
sahabhuvaḥ = (nom. from sahabhuva) symptoms; secondary symptoms
